Transport Options
Tram
Take the T2 tram to "San Donato - Università" stop (364 meters from the campus). The tram connects the venue to both the city center and Peretola Airport.
Car
Parking is available in the campus area. Multiple parking spots for disabled attendees are available close to all entrances.
From City Center
From Santa Maria Novella station, it's a 40-minute walk or a few stops on the T2 tram line. From Aula Magna, you can take the T2 tram (direction Airport) to San Donato - Università.
About Novoli Campus
Established in 2002, the Social Sciences Center of Florence, designed by renowned architect Adolfo Natalini, is part of the broader urban redevelopment of the Novoli area. A perfect example of Italian Rationalism, it consists of seven buildings and houses three university faculties: Economics, Law, and Political Science.
The campus includes multiple educational buildings (D4, D5, D6, D15), a well-stocked library with over 900,000 volumes (D10), study rooms (D14), and a canteen. Beyond being a study center, "Novoli," as Florentines call it, has become a new residential and social hub complete with shops, bars, and restaurants.
Nearby, you'll find the beautiful San Donato Park, an eight-hectare green space created following the redevelopment of a former Fiat industrial site, and the iconic Palazzo di Giustizia (courthouse), built in 2012.
